Long Live McQueen

After the death of Lee (Alexander) McQueen, the fashion world went into mourning, and many people wondered what would happen to the fashion label famous for being so unique... Who could match up to the brilliance and creativity shown by its head designer?

Well for the 'Spring/Summer 2011' show in Paris, Sarah Burton presented her first catwalk collection for Alexander McQueen and proved herself as an amazing designer. Luckily she kept many of McQueen's signature styles alive with structured, outgoing silhouettes, and mind-blowing bold prints!

I L.O.V.E this new collection - especially the white ethereal dress (left) which is stunning! The collection included butterfly inspired dresses, basket weaved hair, and of course some very cool shoes! It makes you wonder what's going on in the minds of these talented designers...
And as for where I would wear these clothes (if I somehow got to own them!)...well, I have absolutely no idea!
